Product description
Load a 610mm roll, start your print job with HP Click, and before your coffee is even ready, an A1 drawing will roll out of the HP DesignJet Studio Wood 24-inch in 26 seconds. This plotter is designed for architects, interior designers, and structural engineers who print technical line drawings and atmospheric visuals and prefer a printer that looks as natural as their workspace.
Print quality and speed
The Studio Wood produces lines with an accuracy of ±0.1 percent and an optimal resolution of 2400 × 1200 dpi. An A1 sheet rolls out of the machine in 26 seconds, supported by 1 GB of internal memory that processes large PDF files smoothly.
- A1 output: 26 s per sheet
- Line accuracy ±0.1%
- Four cartridges, pigment black for sharp text
Ease of use
With HP Click, you can send entire project folders to the printer at once. Automatic roll-to-sheet switching saves time, while the HP Smart app displays status and print queue information on the go.
- One-click job submission with HP Click
- Automatic switching between roll and A3 feed
- Can be used wirelessly and via Gigabit Ethernet
Ink technology and sustainability
The casing contains recycled plastic, and HP offsets the remaining CO₂ emissions. This makes it the first net-carbon-neutral DesignJet plotter. The cartridges are returnable, and the packaging is compact to reduce shipping volume.
- Low standby consumption < 0.2 W
- Carbon neutral certified according to The CarbonNeutral Protocol
- 10% recycled plastic in the housing
Data security
Encrypted HTTPS connections, a built-in firewall, and role management via the web interface protect your drawings from unauthorized access. User profiles with PIN release prevent prints from being left on the stack.
These are the main differences with the HP DesignJet T630 24-inch
- Print speed: Studio Wood delivers A1 in 26 s, T630 in 30 s.
- Finish: Studio Wood has a wooden top plate and closed roller cover, T630 shows the roller open and has a plastic top plate.
- Sustainability: Studio Wood is CO₂ neutral with 10 percent recycled plastic, T630 contains 30 percent recycled plastic but is not CO₂ offset.
- Design focus: Studio Wood focuses on aesthetics in design studios, T630 on functional CAD productivity.
HP DesignJet T650 : same technology, different design
The DesignJet Studio Wood uses technology identical to the HP DesignJet T650 in the same width. The print head, firmware, speed, and color management are identical, so you get the same 2400 × 1200 dpi quality and A1 or A0 cycle times. The difference lies in the casing: the Studio Wood has a wooden top, a lockable roller cover, and is supplied CO₂-offset, while the T650 uses an open roller and plastic cover. So you're choosing primarily for appearance and durability, not for any other printing performance.
