Product description
You roll a 914 mm roll of paper into the HP DesignJet T630 36-inch, press "Print" in HP Click, and see an A0 drawing appear in 45 seconds. This plotter is designed for architects, structural engineers, and GIS specialists who want to print large drawings and precise maps in-house without a bulky device in the office.
Print quality and speed The T630 delivers lines with an accuracy of ±0.1 percent and a resolution of up to 2400 × 1200 dpi. An A1 sheet prints in 30 seconds, and an A0 in 45 seconds, aided by 1 GB of memory that smoothly handles large PDF files.
- A1 output: 30 sec per sheet
- A0 output: 45 sec per sheet
- Four cartridges, pigment black for sharp text
Ease of use: With HP Click, you can send entire project folders to the plotter at once. The system automatically switches between roll and A3 sheets, while the HP Smart app displays status and print queue information along the way.
- One-click job submission with HP Click
- Automatic switching between roll and sheet
- Can be used wirelessly, via Gigabit Ethernet and with USB
Ink technology and sustainability: The chassis is made of 30 percent recycled plastic and consumes less than 35W during printing and less than 2.1W in sleep mode. The energy-efficient design reduces routine ink consumption and lowers the carbon impact.
- Routine maintenance uses up to 95 percent less ink
- EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR certified
Data security HP Wolf Essential Security offers encrypted protocols, firewall management, and PIN release to prevent unauthorized access to your drawings.
These are the main differences with the HP DesignJet Studio Wood 36 inch

- Finish: Studio Wood has a wooden top plate and closed roller cover, T630 shows the roller open and has a plastic top plate.
- Sustainability: Studio Wood is CO₂ neutral with 10 percent recycled plastic, T630 contains 30 percent recycled plastic but is not CO₂ offset.
- Design focus: Studio Wood focuses on aesthetics in design studios, T630 on functional CAD productivity.
